Five layers that let her age at home.
Nobody sets out to push their dog to the edge of the house. It happens one reasonable step at a time. Off the bed. Off the good rug. Into the kitchen where the floor is easy to clean. Then one day Bess stood in the doorway and would not come in, and I understood I'd exiled the dog I love without ever deciding to.
I built PuddleMat so she could stay in the middle of the family instead. Five layers, each one solving the small reasons an old dog gets moved out of the room she wants to be in: it stays put, it stays dry, it stays quiet, and it lasts. Here's what each layer does and the problem it fixes.
